Pavilosta

A small  harbour town with a broad, sandy beach where in windy time often pieces of amber are washed ashore. The small sea boats are seen in the port. It is possible to take part in the coastal fishing and to take a boat out into the sea.

Bernati un Jurmalciems

The most distant Latvian Westen point is situated in Bernati with a symbolic sign “The Green Ray”. Jurmalciems appears to be a typical  costal village with fishermens’  houses, boat station, net cots. Those villages offer a broad selection of tourist lodging opportunities.

Pape

Right at the sea the Pape lake – a shallow lagune lake – is situated. Due to support of the the World Nature Foundation the wild horses feed in the meadows , there is a “Nature House” , the Nature Process Path formed there as well as a tower for watching migration of migrant birds.
